Just got back from Barrick Battles, which is a two day event put on by a local Historical Gaming club, and your game was a big success running late model Dodge Daytona , Plymouth Superbirds and Ford Torinos. I had such interest in the afternoon that I canceled my game for the evening session and run it again. Well that session went so well with 14 cars in the race that they wanted to do it again. So I'm going back tomorrow and running a present day race. You should also get some inquiries from one of the local shop due to some of the gamers recommendations. Well I let you know how it goes tomorrow and I'll have some pictures also (forgot camera today) Well good-bye for now. Ray Just played the best auto racing game,I have come across. The guys had such a great time that Ray decided to run another event Sunday. A good time was had by all.(Blown engine and all) I plan on traveling to other events as a kind of racing season, ending at Gen Con. Rick Costa Sorry for taking so long with this update from Sundays Modern Race but I've been busy getting my real vehicle ready for travel to Little Wars 200. The race went well, with 18 cars in the race having a team car for each player. Or Jeffy would not have any help on the track as we all know. One driver tried real hard to win the race by taking the rest of us out. About 80 percent of his rolls were TI's and with my modification it can be dangerous for every one else, and was for 3 cars himself included. My son made a new track which I will be using this weekend along with Martinsville. I'm attaching pic of the Sunday race. Almost forgot Jeffy G. won on the last roll of the race, it's interesting the twist that stagger spaces on turn has. Coming out of turn 4 Jeff was second at the start of the turn with the first place car directly in front of him. The first place car rolls a +2 (17 spaces), and Gordon rolls a max (18). Well the first car move his 17 and comes up short of the finish line and Gordon being one space back should end up in the same place one short of crossing the finish, but not so, he duck to the inside lane and 18 puts him over the finish by one. Thats what I like about your game almost every race has had a dramatic finish.
